Energy Perspective is the consulting lens through which Astrid Kruijt works with founders and leadership teams to create clarity, strengthen alignment and focus resources on what creates the greatest impact.

Sustainable performance is rarely about doing more. It is about making better choices.

Over the past 18 years, I have had the privilege of working with highly capable people in both global and local organisations across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and IT. People who were ambitious and deeply committed to their organisation.

And yet, one pattern kept repeating itself. Teams trying to do it all. One more opportunity, one more initiative, one more priority. The belief that if we worked hard enough, we could make it all happen. Sometimes we could. But it always came at an opportunity cost. Focus became diluted, energy became fragmented, people became stretched.

And in trying to do everything, they often lost sight of what mattered most.

My finance background gave me a different lens. When it comes to money, everyone readily accepts that every euro can only be spent once. But when it comes to time, attention and energy, we often act as if there is always more to give. There isn’t. Real progress begins the moment we accept that all resources are finite.

When organisations have the courage to focus on what matters most, something powerful happens. Clarity increases. People understand how they contribute. Commitment grows. And energy is released. That belief became the foundation of Energy Perspective.

Sustainable performance is rarely about doing more. It is about making better choices.

If you are a founder or a leader who feels pulled in too many directions and suspect the answer isn’t doing more, I'd love to have a conversation.” - Astrid Kruijt

This thinking informs Astrid's consulting work directly, shaping how she reads and engages with leadership teams, and supports organisations in understanding what is driving their current reality.

How I Work

"Energy Perspective is not built around a standard programme or a single intervention.

Sometimes the work begins with a leadership conversation. Sometimes it starts with a workshop, a strategic review, or a period of executive partnership. The starting point is less important than understanding what the organisation is experiencing and what it is trying to achieve.

My role is not to arrive with a pre-packaged answer. It is to help leaders see their organisation more clearly, identify where energy is being lost, and create the conditions for more focused and effective execution.

The work is always practical. Sometimes that means facilitating alignment within a leadership team. Sometimes it means helping clarify priorities, strengthen accountability, or challenge assumptions that are no longer serving the organisation.

Every organisation is different. The common thread is creating the clarity needed for people, teams and systems to move forward with greater purpose and less friction."
